Parking Lot Assailant On the Loose

In Macon, Georgia recently the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted parking lot assault and armed robbery that happened in the parking of the Best Western Riverside Inn.

According to a news release, 61-year-old David Lord was parking his car when a man approach him and demanded money. Lord refused and the suspect hit him on the head with and unknown object.

The suspect fled the scene.

Lord was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Whenever we see a story like this we just wonder if the man had been carrying a self-defense weapon like this police model triple action spray that uses a combination of oleoresin capsicum, CN teargas and UV marking dye if he couldn’t repel the assailant. But we’ll never know. It is the same size model used by law enforcement personnel. Features flip-top safety cap, finger-grip dispenser, belt clip and keychain. 18 gram unit sprays 8-12 feet. Contains 10 one second bursts.
